In Fleet Management, you specify the cargo, routing and vehicle profiles
- A routing profile and an optional cargo profile are assigned to each vehicle.
- Properties affecting route calculations are entered in the routing profile.
- The route costs are determined based on the cargo profile assigned to the vehicle.
- The pricing model allows calculating additional costs, e.g. when processing quotations.
Properties affecting route calculations are entered in the routing profile. If you create a vehicle, you can assign one of the pre-defined routing profiles to it. Alternatively, you can create your own routing profiles and assign them to vehicles.
Note: The pre-defined Passenger Vehicle, Transporter and Truck routing profiles cannot be changed.
Variable and fixed costs that are relevant for route calculations are entered in the routing profile.
Tip: All listed costs are displayed with 3 decimal places by default. The number of decimals can be edited by clicking in the column header.
The pricing model allows you to enter a cost mark-up, for example, for the purposes of more precise quotation calculations. The cost mark-up can be calculated based on a pricelist or a tariff zone model. In addition, you can add a mark-up to transport costs for each stop-off. Cost mark-ups are displayed as a route calculation result.
